ThaiWakeClub review
ESC Thai Wake Park is the newest big cable around Bangkok, and it shows. Run by the Thai Wake Park group inside ESC Park in Khlong Luang, it sits on a wide lake with a full-size 5-tower Rixen cable (counter-clockwise) and a separate 2-tower System 2.0 training line nicknamed "Little Bro". It hosted the IWWF Worlds in 2022 and the 2025 SEA Games wakeboard events, so the setup is built for competition.
Based on official information and our research, the obstacle line is the most varied in the Bangkok area: 15+ features including four kickers, a table top, an up-pipe wall, two tsunamis, an oversized rainbow and a pumptrack wavebox. Intermediate and advanced riders will find plenty to work on. Beginners get the same deal as at Lumlukka: free beginner board and life jacket, a 995 THB Beginner Lesson (Saturdays here) and a 595 THB Low Speed Session.
Access is a real plus. Don Mueang is about 25 minutes away and Future Park Rangsit is around 12 minutes, and ESC Park Hotel is right next door. Night riding runs until 22:00 every day.
On the downside, weekday opening is 11:00 rather than 09:00, there is only one training cable versus two at Lumlukka, and prices mirror the sister park, so walk-in riding is not cheap without a Club Card. Overall: a modern, competition-grade park that is a very close second to Lumlukka and the easier one to reach from Don Mueang.

History & story
ESC Thai Wake Park is the youngest of the Thai Wake Park sites, a joint project between developer ESC and the team behind Lumlukka; Waketricks dates its opening to 2019. It sits inside the 300-rai ESC Park campus in Rangsit, with a pumptrack, restaurants and a hotel next door. In just a few years it became Thailand's main competition lake: it hosted the country's first IWWF World Cable Championships in 2022 and the SEA Games cable event in December 2025, where Thailand took team gold. About 25 minutes from Don Mueang, it suits riders who want world-championship water with an easy day out around it.

Background and history
ESC Thai Wake Park is a joint project between ESC, a property developer, and the Thai Wake Park team that also runs Lumlukka and Pattaya (source: Unleashed Wake Magazine). Waketricks dates its opening to 2019, which makes it the youngest of the Thai Wake Park sites; the official site still calls it the brand's newest park.
It sits inside ESC Park Rangsit in Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani, a campus of more than 300 rai that also holds a pumptrack, a golf driving range, a studio, restaurants, cafes and the ESC Park Hotel (source: ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola). The official site puts the drive from Don Mueang airport at about 25 minutes.
The cable and features in detail
The main line is a five-tower, full-size Rixen cable running counter-clockwise, with a two-tower Rixen "Little Bro" System 2.0 line for training (source: Waketricks). Like Lumlukka, the lake was built for cable riding, with a central island that keeps waves off the lap. The main cable is floodlit until 22:00.
The feature list is long. Waketricks lists 15+ obstacles, including four kickers, two mini boxes, a table top, an up-pipe wall, an iceberg set, an up-ledge, a funbox set, left and right tsunamis, an oversized rainbow, a bank, a ledge, a pumptrack wavebox, a bumper and a rail. Contest coverage from 2022 described more than a dozen full-plastic features. Layouts change, so confirm with the park if you want a particular feature.
Rules and what to know before you go
Prices match Lumlukka on the official "Greater Bangkok" list. As of October 2026: 850 THB for 2 hours, 1,150 THB for 4 hours, 1,350 THB for the day, with a beginner board and life jacket included and helmets at 60 THB a day. Club Card holders pay less.
Opening hours differ from Lumlukka. On weekdays the counter and main cable open at 11:00, and on weekends and public holidays at 09:00. Everything closes at 22:00, except the training cable, which stops at 18:00. The kitchen takes last orders at 21:15. Beginner lessons run on Saturdays from 09:30 to 12:00 (995 THB), and Low Speed Sessions on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Kids' lessons on the training cable are for ages 6 to 14 and are booked through LINE.
The brand says non-swimmers can ride safely in a vest. Food, deposit and locker policies are not published, so confirm with the park.
What reviewers often say
Reviews on Google (about 4.7 from roughly 250 reviews, per Wake Parks Thailand) often mention smooth, clean water, well-kept obstacles, modern facilities and a welcoming mix of beginners and experienced riders. Shaded lakeside seating and the cafe come up regularly, and hotel reviews on booking sites mention the convenience of food right by the water.
An April 2026 comparison describes ESC as the calmer of the two Bangkok-area Thai Wake Parks: a bigger lake, longer and more relaxed laps, and more families and day-trippers, while Lumlukka draws the hardcore training crowd. Weekday mornings are reported as the quietest. Weekends are busy, but queues are seldom described as a problem, and weekday floodlit sessions are popular with people riding after work.
Recent news and events (2025-2026)
ESC has become Thailand's main competition venue. From 31 October to 6 November 2022 it hosted the Singha IWWF World Cable Wakeboard and Wakeskate Championships, the first world championship of its kind held in Thailand. Reports put the field at roughly 250 to 300+ riders from 30-plus countries (sources: Thai Post, Unleashed Wake Magazine).
In December 2025 it was the cable wakeboard venue of the 33rd SEA Games, while the boat events went to Rabbit Lake in Minburi (source: IWWF Asia). Thailand topped the towed-water-sports medal table and took gold in the cable wakeboard team event (source: Wikipedia). Sources give slightly different competition dates.
For 2026, the official timetable lists a weekday Afternoon Sesh until 17:00 and a Late Night Sesh from 20:00 to 22:00, each 695 THB, plus Lady Day on Thursdays at 395 THB for Club Card holders. The ESC Park Hotel next door had rooms from about 1,800 THB in April 2026; check current rates.

How do I get to ESC Thai Wake Park from Don Mueang?
It is about 14 km, roughly 25 minutes by Grab or taxi. Search for ESC Thai Wake Park or ESC Park Hotel, which sits right beside the lake.

Yes. The Intro Kid Lesson is 1,595 THB for 1 hour on the training cable for ages 6-14. Book through LINE @thaiwakepark.
